Did your family move here from London?

Did your family move to St Albans from Hornsey, Finchley, Edmonton, Tottenham or Southgate in the 1950s?  There was an arrangement between St Albans City Council and these London boroughs.  They came to live in some of the new homes on the London Road (Mile House) estate.

Mayor Rosemary Farmer formally opens the new visitor centre for Highfield Park Trust today, Sunday 22nd July.

The smart airy building will provide a significantly improved environment for the Trust's activities and administration.
